Meter stamp kind: summary of the different intended styls of an overprint

Post meter stamp: postal shipment with meter stamp from a postal administration (official meter stamp)

Sender meter stamp: postal shipment with meter stamp from a private person or company (private meter stamp)

Half impression meter stamp: one time printed meter stamp which range over the half postal shipment

Full impression meter stamp: meter stamp which range over the complete width of the postal shipment

Printed meter stamp: postal shipment with directly printed meter stamp

Glued meter stamp: meter stamp printed on a paper strip and than glued on a postal shipment

Printed and glued meter stamp: postal shipment with directly printed and glued on meter stamp

Meter stamp in zero position: postal shipment with printed meter stamp value in zero position as intended style

Meter stamp with supplemented value frame: meter stamp with additional zeros in the value frame because of imflation

Horizontal meter stamp: postal shipment with horizontal meter stamp as intended style

Inverted meter stamp: postal shipment with 180 degrees rotated horizontal meter stamp as intended style

Double meter stamp: postal shipment with twice overprint as intended style

Adaped meter stamp: meter stamp with intended style the inscriptions have been partially or completely removed

Interiem cliché: temporary solution for sender indicia if the individual customer cliché is not yet ready but the meter machine should already be used

Shipping note: meter stamp with the shipping method printed (e.g. small parcel)
